The Green Manufacturer Network is a professional organization of individual and company members working together to promote ecosavvy manufacturing. Its mission is to facilitate training and share knowledge on achieving sustainable facilities and manufacturing practices. The network further seeks to connect manufacturers with know-how and opportunities in the energy generation supply chain.

You can help shape the future of the manufacturing industry and form valuable contacts with other green leaders by becoming part of the founding Green Manufacturer Advisory Board.  We anticipate the network having an advisory board comprised of six individuals representing three individual councils:

1. Facilities and Power Sources Council
   For those with interest or knowledge in: Waste Management/Disposal Systems, Energy-Efficient Lighting Systems, Sustainable Building Material/Systems, LEED Certification, Heating/Cooling Systems, Rooftop Solar or Wind Energy Systems, Fuel Cell and Biofuels for Plant/Vehicle Power Systems
   
   

2. Machinery & Equipment Council
   For those with interest or knowledge in: Energy-Efficient Drives and Motors, Green Lubricants and Systems, Raw Material Utilization, Controls and Sensors, Packaging and Processing Equipment, Material and Scrap Handling Systems
   
   
3. Renewable Energy Market Opportunities Council
   For those with interest or knowledge in: Manufacturing components for alternative energy sources (i.e. Biofuels, Nuclear Power Plants, Solar and Wind Energy Systems)
