Truex receives sixth Environmental Compliance Award

Truex Inc., Pawtucket, R.I., has received its sixth Environmental Perfect Compliance Award from the Narragansett Bay Commission of Rhode Island. Each year the commission recognizes industrial users that have demonstrated a perfect record of compliance to its environmental regulations. Fourteen out of 1,500 companies in the state achieved the perfect record for 2009.

This is the fifth consecutive time that Truex has achieved the award. The company manufactures deep-drawn stampings fabricated from brass, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum for the appliance, automotive, electrical, lawn and garden, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and marine industries.
