Above-ground wash racks moveable

Hydro Eng. offers Hydropad instant, above-ground equipment wash racks. They do not require any architectural design, permitting, or construction and can be moved when required.

The units work much like a home roof and gutter system. As equipment washing takes place on the roof, the water and solids fall onto the waterproof surface and flow to the side gutter, which is placed on the downslope side of the rack. The wastewater, dirt, oil, and grease will flow through patented channels in the top surface to the side gutter.

In the side gutter, solids begin to separate from the wastewater. The patented side gutter also allows for continuous wash operations with no interruption for gutter cleaning because the gutters are not in the above-ground wash rack’s work surface.

In moderate-to-heavy solids applications, solids can be removed in three ways: collection and pumping to an above-ground solids settling tank; an in-gutter conveyor that cleans solids from the side gutter; and a skid steer drive-in cleanout gutter.
