Compressors for contractors

Atlas Copco Compressors has developed a new line of portable piston compressors that are suitable for light industrial use, applications within the vehicle service market, and a range of construction applications. The KT range is a contractor series that provides compressed air in a portable package while offering the durability to withstand daily wear and tear.

The series features seven new electric and gas-powered models that deliver as much as 25.3 CFM at 100 PSI in a low-profile design complete with a semipneumatic wheel. Each model is made in the U.S.

Electric models are from 1.5 to 2 HP and include features such as a start-stop pressure switch control, a fully enclosed belt guard, tank drains, and a discharge valve. The gas-driven models provide additional power from 5.5 to 12.75 HP and offer features beyond those included with the electric models, such as engine slowdown (pilot valve) and low-oil-level engine protection.
