Vapor-recompression evaporator

Proceco offers the Éco-smart mechanical vapor-recompression evaporator to reclaim water from industrial processes.

Designed to reduce waste disposal costs, the product uses vacuum distillation to reclaim as much as 98 percent of the water and return it to the industrial process. It does not use electric, gas, or steam heat sources to generate the distillate. In addition, the product uses a PLC process, few moving parts, and no liquid pumps. It performs automatic, periodic blow-down of concentrate waste and has a compact design.

Industrial wastewater treatment applications include parts washer cleaning solutions and rinse water, liquid penetrant rinse water, surface treatment rinse water, oily emulsions/coolant, wet vibratory finishing, die casting and extrusion, concentrates from membrane filtration, and DI water regeneration.

The evaporator is available in four models, with wastewater treatment capacity from 400 gal./d and a sound level of 80 dBA.
