IAI launches aluminum recycling Web site

The International Aluminium Institute (IAI) has launched a Web site highlighting the economic, social, and environmental benefits and future potential of aluminum recycling. The Aluminium for Future Generations site, at http://recycling.world-aluminium.org, features interactive content based on the institute's "mass flow" research and statistical database, as well as recycling success stories from around the world.

The site also provides data on recycling rates and energy and emissions savings—measures that are central to the aluminum industry's sustainability strategy of reducing the environmental impact of its facilities, increasing the use of aluminum in energy-saving applications, and maximizing the recycling of products at the end of their useful life.
