Atlas Copco Compressors names new U.S. general manager

Atlas Copco Compressors has named Andrew Walker as general manager for its U.S. operations, with headquarters in Rock Hill, S.C. He succeeds Paul Hense, who left for a new position within the Atlas Copco Airpower Division.

Walker has a master's degree in engineering and business administration from the University College of Dublin. He joined the company in 1986 and has held positions in aftermarket and equipment sales and management in Ireland, Great Britain, and Belgium. In 2001 Walker was named aftermarket marketing manager for the Industrial Air Division; in 2005 he was appointed vice president marketing-equipment for the division. In 2007 he returned to Ireland as general manager for the Customer Center there.
