Recycling equipment brochure

Eriez has published a brochure, “Products for the Recycling Industry,” made with a printing technology that embeds it with wildflower seeds. The brochure becomes a small, biodegradable planter after use.

Users are instructed to soak the brochure in water overnight and then cover it with a thin layer of soil outside. Keeping the brochure moist helps the embedded seeds germinate until the wildflowers start to sprout and eventually reach their full size.

The brochure includes recycling equipment for processing municipal solid waste, comingled recyclables, shredded automobiles, electronic scrap, glass cullet, plastic (PET), foundry sand, and other resource recovery operations. It highlights the company’s P-Rex® scrap drums, ProSort II airless metal recovery systems, FinesSort® metal recovery systems, and TotalSort™ metal recovery systems.
