Thermoplastic compound made of recycled material

Wilbert Plastic Services Inc. has developed a postconsumer thermoplastic compound for use in the production of new, environmentally friendly beverage coolers for global provider Frigoglass NA. The new compound can be used with both thermoform and injection processes.

The company developed the recycled material in partnership with Spartech, an extruder that produces the product, and Enviroplas, a compounder.
