Flexible tracking system

Egemin Automation, epcSolutions, and iGPS have worked together to develop a flexible tracking system that uses robotics technology, global pallet pooling, and RFID software.

The reusable, recyclable pallets are embedded with GS1 standard-compliant RFID tags. They are loaded onto an AGV and dispatched to take products to a put-away location or immediately into an awaiting truck or railcar. The RFID helps ensure the right product is picked up and put into the correct location.
