Roofing cap sheet reflective, smooth-surfaced

Polyglass® U.S.A. Inc. has introduced a new Kool Roof Solution™ called Polyreflect® modified bitumen membrane. This self-adhered, white, reflective cap sheet features a specialized surface that consists of a trilaminate film, which results in a highly reflective, smooth-surfaced roofing membrane. The ENERGY STAR®-approved film surface is listed with the Cool Roof Rating Council with a solar reflectivity of 85 and total SRI of 105.

The trilaminate film surface has several unique properties that allow it to achieve excellent fire burn results and have a Class A rating for up to a 3-in. slope; demonstrate UV resistance and durability; and be manufactured with an environmentally friendly, solvent-free surface that meets EPA standards.

This sustainable roofing membrane can be revitalized after many years of use with an application of the company's Polybrite® 70 elastomeric roof coating, adding years to the roof's life.

The cap sheet features patented ADESO® technology, a dual-compound technology that uses an APP or SBS formulation on the top side and a self-adhered formulation on the reinforcement's bottom side. This technology integrates patented features that enhance lap sealing. When used as a cap sheet in a multi-ply roofing system, the product provides redundant waterproofing protection.
