Energy-saving robot

Adept Technology Inc. has developed the Adept Quattro™ s650HS robot for various production systems, from food processing to solar cell manufacturing.

Recent benchmark tests validate that the robot, originally designed with energy conservation in mind, consumes up to 35 percent less power than delta or SCARA robots, the manufacturer states.
