AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry has introduced a concentrated liquid surfactant product that provides an environmentally friendly cleaning alternative to heavy-duty degreasers containing high-VOC petrochemical solvents.

Readily biodegradable Berol® HD mixes with builders and water to form aqueous degreasing formulations for heavy-duty, low-VOC cleaning performance. The cleaner removes tar and bugs from automobiles and is effective at removing greasy soils.
