InventHelp® has announced that one of its inventor clients has designed a modified hand truck that could help the user to load, unload, and transport a welding cylinder.
The patented Tank Cart would include straps that hold the cylinder in place. A plate would hook onto the welding machine and tilt upward and downward. This design could enable a user to lift a welding cylinder from or onto a welding machine or around a job site.
The steel cart would be similar in appearance to a conventional hand truck but designed to fit and transport a welding cylinder. The frame of the cart would be composed of four flatiron bars measuring 2 in. wide and 0.25 in. thick. The uprights on either side would measure 56 in. tall. The top and bottom horizontal pieces would measure 12 in. long, and two crossbars would be positioned between the top and bottom pieces.
A U-shaped handle would be composed of round tubing that would extend from the back of the upper crossbar. Angled pieces would extend from the back of either upright and form an axle for the wheels. The wheels would be composed of solid hard rubber.
Straps would extend from the fronts of the uprights to support the body of the welding cylinder, and the cylinder holder would be positioned on the bottom of the cart front.
